county, on the Waters of Leipers fork of West Harpeth
and bounded as follows to wit: beginning at James
Peach's North east corner, two dogwoods, running west
with said peach and Cowen's line fifty four poles to a
dogwood, thence north eighteen poles to a beech in
Preston's old line; thence east with said line sixty
four poles to a stake i Meacham's line; thence south
with said line eighteen poles to the beginning.

pg 91, Franklin McCann Bingham. Date of birth is
unknown. He married Elizabeth Ann Haley (Betsy) on 22
December 1836 as recorded in the Elizabeth Pigott
Bible in the possession of J. B. Parham of Route 6,
Franklin, TN. They had one daughter, Elizabeth Bingham
who married Murray Meacham, a first cousin of Milton
Meacham. McCann drowned and his widow married Green
Meacham.

there is granted by the said state of Tennessee unto
Green Meacham a certain tract or parcel of land
containing two acres 50 poles by survey bearing date
the 21 day of March i851 lying in the said county in
civil district no 3, on the waters of West Harpeth.
Beginning at Taylor Jones SW corner a hickory, then
east twenty six poles to a white walnut and beach,
thence south twelve poles, 12 links to a stake, with
three hickories, dogwood and black oak pointers, in
Abner Peaches(??) line thence west with said line
twenty six poles to a stake, thence north twelve poles
