of White for apace and time of two years next evening
the date here of, and there upon took the oath to

State of Tennesse and the oath of office of a
constable in and for said county, and entered into
bond with John E. Conn and John Hawkins, in the sum of
two hundred and fifty pounds as the law required.

This day the Defendent in the above cause, although
again solemnly called to come here into court came
not, but made default, whereby he hath forfeited to
the Plaintiffs ths sum of one hundred and twenty five
dollars, the sum set forth in the Subpoena: and it
appearing to the satisfaction of the court that two
Sci Fas. had been returned made known to the
defendent, it is therefore considered by the Court,
that Plaintiffs recover against the defendents ths sum
of one hundred and twenty five dollars the sum in the
subpoena mentioned, together with the cost of this

John Catron, Seth Norton vs. John E. Conn Debt on Sci fas
This day came the plaintiff by their Attorney Samuel
Turney Esq. and it appearing to the satisfaction of
the Court that the plaintiff by the judgment of this
Court at July session A.D. 1820, recover against a
certain William Haws the sum of eleven dollars fifty
cents for damages also the further sum of thirteen
dollars fifty four and a half cents for cost of such,
whereof the said William Haws is correct and liable as
appears of record. And whereas the Defendant
undertook and became appearance bail for the said
William Haws And it appearing to the satisfaction of
the Court that the second writ of Sceri facias issuing
in this cause directed to the Sheriff of White County,
which had been regularly returned, that said Defendant
was not found, and the said defendant was again
solemnly called to appear in open Court and plead to
and defend the writ of Seri Facias in this cause, and
shew cause if any thing he hath to can (sic) why the
plaintiff should not have execution against said
defendant for the sum of eleven dollars and fifty
cents damanges also the further sum of thirteen
dollars fifty four and a half cents for cost therein
mentioned agreeably to the tenor and effect of said
Sceri facias. And it is also considered by the Court
that the plaintiffs recover against the defendant
their cost by them expended in suing forth and
prosecuting the writ of Sceri facias in this cause.
